1 day. Arrival at Sofia airport. Transfer. Welcome cocktail. Accommodation in 4* hotel. Sightseeing tour of Sofia - the capital of Bulgaria. Visit of the biggest cathedral on the Balkan peninsula St. Alexander Nevski, remains from Roman times, museums, churches, modern Sofia, etc. Free time. Dinner. Overnight.

2 day. Departure for Rila monastery - the biggest monastery in Bulgaria, included in the list of UNESCO. Lunch in the area of the monastery. Proceed to Plovdiv. Accommodation in 4* hotel. Dinner. Overnight.

3 day. Sightseeing tour of Plovdiv, including the old city complex. Lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon - visit of the impressive Bachkovo monastery (35km), the second biggest monastery in Bulgaria. Back to Plovdiv. Accommodation in hotel 4*. Dinner.

4 day. 9.00 Proceed to Kazanluk - the valley of the roses. Sightseeing tour of the city, visiting the museum of the roses, an unique Thracian tomb and the Shipka monastery complex dedicated to the liberators of Bulgaria. Lunch in Kazanluk. Proceed to Veliko Turnovo - the capital of medieval Bulgaria. Accommodation in 4* hotel. Dinner. Option - light and sound show in the hill Zarevetz / unique program presenting the Bulgarian history by lights and music /. Overnight.

5 day. 9.00 Sightseeing tour of Veliko Turnovo - visit of the royal palace and fortress, several monasteries and churches from 13-14 century. Lunch. In the afternoon half-day excursion to Arbanassi - impressive small village with traditional Bulgarian houses and churches from 13-14 century. Back to Veliko Turnovo. Free time for shopping in the Samovodksa Charshia Street where you can find a diversity of art craft and handmade souvenirs. Dinner. Overnight.

6 day. After breakfast visit of one of the most impressive monasteries in the area of Veliko Tarnovo - The monastery of Transfiguration, The Kilifarevo monastery, The Dryanovo monastery, The St. St. Peter and Paul monastery, etc. Late in the afternoon - back in Veliko Tarnovo for overnight. Dinner.

7 day. 9.00 Departure to Sofia via Troyan Monastery - beautiful medieval monastery in the heart of the Balkans. In the monastery visit of the beautiful church, painted outside as well. Lunch in the area of the monastery. Proceed to Sofia. Arrive in Sofia late in the afternoon. Accommodation in 4* hotel. Free time. Dinner. Option - dinner in traditional Bulgarian restaurant with folklore program. Overnight.

8 day. Transfer to airport. End of RAD-FESTA's services.
