History: The building was constructed in 1888 after the design of Architect Valsamaki and was meant to be the home of a rich merchant-Dina Bebis. In 1906, after a tragic accident, Bebis left the town, having sold his property to Hugo Schobermann, owner of the first modern taxis in Rouschouk. In 1910 the latter lost the building in a game of poker, which turned into one of the town’s legends. Since then, several consulates were housed here consecutively: the Italian, Austria-Hungarian and Roumanian one. In 1952 the edifice was used by the Natural history museum and later on, by the Hunting-fishing society. In 2001 it was sold by auction to the owner of the firm "AERI-44"-Ivan Dobrev Milev. Repairs and restoration work began in September the same year. Anna Palace hotel was opened on 09.04.2003. It is an unique blend of the spirit of the old town and the world of today.
